PSTET 2013 – Punjab State TET Notification, Dates & Application Form 2013: Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test has been announced. State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab has issued a recruitment notification for the Teacher Eligibility Test 2013. Online applications are invited for filling up Teacher vacancies through Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test 2013. PSTET Vacancy Details:

Post Name:

1. Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5)
2. Elementary Teacher (Class 6 to 8)

Age Limitations: No age limitations for the above posts. Refer to official notification for more details.

Educational Qualification:

1. For Primary Teacher (Class 1 to 5): Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or Senior Secondary with minimum of 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 or Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Senior Secondary or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) or Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.
2. For Elementary Teacher (Class 6 to 8):  Candidates must have possess the qualification of Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or Graduation with minimum of and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Senior Secondary or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed or Graduation with minimum of 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Application Fee: Application fee for Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test.

1. Either Paper I or II: General / BC/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- as application Fee, SC/ST category candidates will have to pay Rs. 300/- as application Fee for Only Paper I or II.
2. Both Paper 1 & II: General / BC/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000/- as application Fee, SC/ST category candidates will have to pay Rs. 600/- as application Fee for Only Paper I or II.

Application fee should be paid through Challan and deposit the prescribed fee in the AXIS bank or Online payment through Credit / Debit Card. Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying application fees.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis their performance in written examination.

How to Apply: All those candidates who wish to apply Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET), they are required to apply through online mode on its official website at www.tetpunjab.com before 10th December 2013. Candidates willing to apply for both Paper, are required to apply separately, only single registration is sufficient.

After filling the application form, candidates need to take print of the conformation page, and submit it along with required documents to the following address before 16th December 2013.

Last Date for Submission of Online Application Form: 10-12-2013

Last Date for Payment of Fee in Bank: 11-12-2013

Last Date for Receipt of Application Form: 16-12-2013

Date of Download Admit Card: 18-12-2013

Date of Written examination: 28-12-2013
